Turbine Creative is an ambitious creative agency, specialising in the Life Science, Health and Elite Sport Sectors. Our core purpose is to help realise the potential in our clients’ brands, products and services through exceptionally creative and intelligent marketing solutions, with a particular focus on video and animation-driven campaigns.

Since its inception in 2020 Turbine has had a hugely productive couple of years. We’ve taken on some awesome clients including the likes of Team GB, the BBC, the NHS, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Johnson and Johnson and UK Sport. Freelance Project Manager Role

We believe a thriving Project Manager gets the best out of both people and projects. They keep projects and campaigns on schedule, within scope and budget, and working toward high efficiencies and flawless execution.

Responsibilities include:

Lead the project management of multiple projects from initial client contact through to post-project debriefing and evaluation.

Determine and define project scopes and objectives in consultation with clients and Turbine Creative senior staff.

Create estimates based on the scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs in order to meet internal budget requirements and client expectations.

Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.

Predict resources needed to reach objectives across multiple projects and manage these resources in an effective and efficient manner.

Be in regular contact with clients and maintain a transparent and regular communication with them.

Be willing to take an active role in presenting work to clients. Either in pitch scenarios, creative solutions presentations or workshopping.

Be willing to support new business development (eg. support with social media, blog and website content).

Qualifications and requirements:

Be an experienced Project Manager with over 5 years’ experience, with proven experience in seeing projects through the full life cycle.

Be proactive, assertive and an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Be very well organised, willing to use your initiative to solve problems whilst working with internal team members, clients, external contractors and various suppliers.

Have a calm and methodical approach, being able to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to pre-empt any potential issues and keep project budgets and deadlines on track.

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

A team player who is willing to go the extra mile to support clients’ best interests and project success.

Our ideal recruit will have previous project management experience within a creative agency environment, with demonstrable ability in managing a wide variety of creative projects, including video and animation.

Required skills:

– Microsoft Office

– Ability to use time/project planning software (eg Toggl)

– Experienced in using financial software for estimating and invoicing 

– Google Software (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Hangout)

– Highly competent at hybrid working and video conferencing 

Payment

£30ph for 8-12 hours per week depending on workload. Time spread across the week.

Work Location

Hybrid working. Your time will be split across working from home and coming into our office space in Nottingham City Centre when required.
